Bamber Bridge 5-1 Lancaster City
Missing a raft of players with Ryan Winder, Ryan Elderton, Ben Hudson and Rob Henry all missing the Dolly Blues put in a lacklustre performance that saw them put to the sword by a clinical Brig side.
City started the game brightly and had a chance to go ahead when Sam Bailey’s cross found Garry Hunter at the back post but the midfielder skied his volley over the bar from six yards.

Greg Johnstone soon doubled the lead when he easily cut past Neil Marshal from the right flank and rifled a shot past Mike Hale into the roof of the net.
Two minutes after the second half started the game was put to bed. Matt Mahoney’s strike was well saved by Hale but Alistair Waddecar was on hand at the back post to lap up the rebound to make it 3-0.
Green made it four after breezing through a high City backline to slot a low shot past Hale one-on-one before Johnstone rounded off the scoring for the hosts with an accurately placed header into the top right corner.
