Lancaster Music Festival set to go ahead in October 2021
Festival director Stuart Marshall said Lancaster Music Festival may be more of a "back to basics" event this year as there were still many unknowns about venues and outdoor spaces.
But the government's roadmap out of Covid-19 lockdown suggests all restrictions on social interaction will be lifted by June 21.

We know that a lot of the pubs and cafes will take part as usual but until they are back up and running again we won't know how many.
"And whether we can stage any outdoor events in the city's public spaces and concerts in the historic buildings, which have been features of the festival in more recent years, depends on funding decisions that we won't know the outcome of until April and July.
"So it may well be something of a 'back to basics' festival this year.
