Refreshing surprise for Morecambe golfers as club reopens
Not only that, the mid-round pit stop will also be open seven days a week under the stewardship of local businessman Andy McMillan.
Andy, himself a Morecambe member, has completely updated the facilities within the halfway house, adding an electricity supply to provide hot meals and reshipments for the
players.

Some of those members rallied around to give the half way house a lick of paint to complete the new look, much to the delight of new club president Peter Lovett-Horn.
He said: “The club is never short of volunteers and it showed when so many stepped forward to restore the look of our halfway house.
"Now we are delighted that Andy taken over the running of a facility that we hope will become more and more popular.”
As for Andy; well he is just looking forward to the season, not just as a golfing member of the club, but also in making sure his fellow players are never hungry or thirsty during their
round of golf.
