Morecambe Arndale's portable toilets mess
Mrs Atkinson said she felt “disgusting” taking her three children to use the portable toilets in the Arndale car park on Sunday June 12.
She arrived at 11.50am and found rubbish and toilet paper thrown across the floor. The mum also said this is not the first time the toilets have been left in a mess.

She said: “What greeted us was pure filth. I find it disgusting that you pay to go to the toilet and then you can’t use it. They also stunk.”
Lancaster City Council have a contract with Danfo UK Limited, a company who have other public toilets, and say the toilets are cleaned regularly.
Councillor David Smith, cabinet member with responsibility for environmental service, said: “These toilets are cleaned at least twice a day by our contractor, Danfo.

“This was immediately cleared, but the city council will not tolerate this sort of anti-social behaviour. If anyone has information as to who might have been responsible they should contact us on 01524 582491 so we can take appropriate action.”
