Symphony Orchestra to take over Lancaster University Hall
The orchestra features the most talented young musicians in the North West, and will be directed by the eminent conductor, En Shao, who has earned his stripes as a great maestro with orchestras such as the China National Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic.
He will perform a programme of classical crowd-pleasers, including two evocative pieces by Debussy – La Mer and Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune – and the sensual Poem of Ecstasy by Scriabin.
