520 'Happy Miles' for Lancaster hospice
Has2BHappy are a not-for-profit care agency who aim to remove the barriers that restrict people with additional needs, no matter what their impairment may be.
They are regular supporters of St John’s, and wanted to do something to raise money for their local Hospice knowing that they have been working throughout coronavirus.

They finished their final mile at St John’s Hospice in September, where they were greeted by food, certificates and lots of socially distanced staff cheering everyone on.
It was especially important for them to support the hospice at this time, as Simon Rudd from Has2BHappy said: “We want to contribute to a kinder, more local, social economy that leaves no-one behind and promotes compassion and mutual help.
"Our admiration for what the people of St John’s Hospice do has energised us to commit to this gruelling challenge on their behalf. Their original target was to raise £2,500 but their current total is a little over £3,000.

Lisa Morgan, fundraising manager at St John’s Hospice, said: “Has2BHappy are great supporters of St John’s and it’s always a pleasure to support them in all their fundraising efforts.
"‘520 Happy Miles’ is an appropriate name, as they never fail to bring smiles to our faces. St John’s Hospice and Has2BHappy have the same goal of providing care and compassion for everyone in the community, so it’s great to have this established connection with a group who share our values.”
